This year in particular I’ve been noticing an increase in the number of engagement session bookings I’ve received.  Everything from engagement parties to full out engagement photo shoots.  Engagement sessions in general have always been popular but I think they are now becoming the ‘norm.’  Most of my brides this year are having engagements photo shoots and I think it’s a really smart idea.  As a bride-to-be you get to practice being in front of the camera, learn what works and what doesn’t and you get the chance to work with your photographer and get a good idea of how things will go photography wise on your wedding day. More importantly than that is the fact you get to play with makeup and hair ideas.

  It all just works!  Waves give you that classic style that really goes out of fashion which is so important especially when you look back at your photos 15 years from now and think to yourself “I still look timeless!”  There are mixture here of modern and classic looks, up and down styles…I hope you get inspired!
